I really don’t think it’s fare to tell her ma because she never had a secret from her husband since fourteen years and if his dad learns the secret he will think there are more secrets. She said she will keep the secret for a day.
I think it was okay for Marty’s mom to keep the secret for one day because the next day she was going to tell Ray, but Marty’s dad found out the same day she was keeping the secret.
